Coed Yr Henbont – Your Private Woodland Cabin

A peaceful off‑grid woodland cabin set within ancient trees on a traditional Welsh hill farm in Llanddeusant, Carmarthenshire. The two connected cabins sleep up to four guests, with a cosy kitchen and lounge in one, and two bedrooms with a private bathroom in the other. Powered by solar with fresh mains water, it blends off‑grid freedom with the comfort needed for a relaxing countryside break.

The sleeping cabin features two separate bedrooms - one with a comfortable double bed, and the other with a versatile king‑size trundle that can be set up as a single, split into two singles, or made as a full king. Wrapped in trees, birdsong and the stillness of the valley, it’s a gentle place to drift off. 

A small designated area beside the cabin is available for guests who would like to pitch their own tent, making it ideal for older children or friends who would enjoy having their own space.  Please let us know in advance if you’d like to add this to your stay.

The Hearth Cabin A welcoming, well‑equipped space with an off‑grid kitchen featuring a gas fridge, gas oven and grill, a two‑ring hob and a sink. Outside, a BBQ offers easy cooking over flames. Inside, the lounge is a calm, comfortable space with steady warmth from the log burner and a few games to enjoy in the evening.  Above, a skylight brings soft natural light into the cabin, adding a gentle sense of openness and connection to the woodland outside.

Outdoor Space

  • The cabin sits within a private fenced woodland, offering quiet space to wander, play and unwind. A cosy snug, a hot tub beneath the trees, an outdoor table and a firepit create the perfect setting for slow evenings under the stars. Wildlife is often seen nearby, from deer and owls to rabbits and squirrels. Beyond the woodland, a riverside meadow exclusive to guests provides peaceful space for picnics and morning coffee beside the water.  Bring your fishing rod to enjoy up to a mile of private riverbank fishing (with the correct licence).
