  • PLEASE NOTE: if you are going via public transport, you will need to prebook any taxi drop off to and from Henbont Cabin. Please note there is no Uber type service available.
  • Coed Yr Henbont Cabin is two joined cabins in your own enclosed woodland space. One cabin houses the kitchen and lounge and the other bedrooms and bathroom.
  • PLEASE ONLY FLUSH TOILET PAPER 🚽Please do not flush wipes, nappies, sanitary products, cotton buds or anything else, even if labelled flushable. Thank you for helping keep our system healthy
  • The cabins, are off grid, using solar power and mains water
  • There are no electrical sockets, only USB wall chargers
  • Please bring torches, wellies, walking boots, waterproofs
  • There is an initial bundle of firewood for the wood burner and the hot tub
  • There is also an initial bag of locally made charcoal
  • Further firewood and charcoal can be purchased from Henbont Holidays
  • Please ensure you read the Hot Tub Safety Rules before using the hot tub
  • EV charging point facilities are not available on site. Guests are responsible for checking vehicle compatibility with the charging stations. Nearest charging points are
  • Wifi from most service providers is available in Henbont Cabin
  • Waste recycling is separated into general waste, food waste, glass and general recycling, using the bins provided
  • This is a working farm, and the surrounding land is grazed by ponies, sheep and cattle because of this no pets are allowed at Henbont Cabin
  • Once you leave the main road the track to Coed Yr Henbont Cabin is ‘unmade’, please drive slowly and carefully at all times
  • Please ensure you close all gates behind you

Sleeping arrangements

  • One cabin with two separate bedrooms - one double bed and one king size trundle bed which can be split into one or two single beds

Bathroom arrangements

  • Henbont Cabin has a private bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin
  • Hand soap and shower gel provided

Cooking

  • Henbont Cabin has a kitchen equipped with a gas fridge, gas oven and grill, a two-ring gas hob and sink
  • BBQ
  • Kitchen has a basic welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, pint of semi skimmed milk, Welsh cakes, matches, fire lighters, hand soap, washing up liquid.

Heating, lighting & bedding

  • The main source of heat comes from the wood-burning stove inside the lounge
  • There is no heating in the bedrooms and bathroom
  • Bed linen, towels and hot water bottles are provided
  • Hot water available in the kitchen and bathroom
  • Please do not touch the thermostat in the kitchen
  • Please allow time for the shower to heat up
  • Solar powered LED lighting

Waste Recycling

Please separate your waste into the following bins

  • Black bags – please use these for all non-recyclable waste
  • Food compost bin – please always use a bin liner. This bin is for all food – raw or cooked
  • Glass box – please rinse out any glass bottles or jars. Lids or tops should go in the blue bag
  • Blue bags – please use these to recycle metal cans and tins, aerosols, and foil; plastic bottles, pots, tubs, and trays; paper, cardboard and cartons

By car:

·Guests can park next to Coed Yr Henbont Cabin.

·Coming from Llangadog village take A4069 towards Brynaman there is a crossroads with a sign on the left to Lluest Pony Trust. If you are coming from Brynaman on A4069 the sign will be on your right. Turn off A4069 in to this road.

Just before you get to a left hand turn in the road there is gate on your right with a tractor shape in it. Gate location is ///inherits.overtones.tight

· Enter the field through this gate. Follow the track across the field and down through the woodland. There is another gate at the end of the track which will take you to the cabin site. Please ensure you close both gates after you.


 Please note: if you are travelling via public transport, you will need to arrange a taxi transfer to the Cabin in advance. There is no Uber type   service available.
